# Automotive Secretary / Administration Officer
This is a varied administrative position suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy automotive environment and can confidently manage multiple responsibilities. The role provides professional administrative support to a busy workshop operations at an established automotive repair business specialising in European vehicles, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen and Volvo, while also servicing all makes and models.
Key responsibilities
- General secretarial and administrative duties
- Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries
- Managing emails and general correspondence
- Customer service and assisting with customer enquiries
- Preparing repair quotes and assisting with estimating repair costs
- Sourcing automotive parts and obtaining supplier pricing
- Using automotive parts supplier websites and online catalogues
- Data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Filing, scanning and document management
- Assisting management and workshop staff with administration
About you
- Previous experience in a secretarial or administration role
- Experience within the automotive industry is highly desired
- Experience preparing automotive repair quotes and estimating repair costs is highly desirable
- Experience using automotive parts supplier websites is highly desirable
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to multitask and work independently
