We’re seeking a hands‑on, reliableLive‑in Caretakerto maintain and present the Residential Village common areas, gardens, and recreational facilities to a high standard. You’ll work independently but in close communication with the management team ensuring our village remains safe, functional, and welcoming.
What you’ll do
- Carry out minor repairs and maintenance on common property
- Maintain gardens, lawns, and irrigation systems
- Clean and check the amenities, recreational areas and building and swimming pool
- Ability to remain compliant in all areas of OH&S and ensure policies and procedures are maintained at all times, with onsite visitors and residents.
- Keep roads, paths, carparks, and lighting in good order
- Oversee contractors for specialised works
- Prepare regular maintenance reports and attend occasional meetings
- Physically fit and enthusiastic with a'can do'attitude
What you’ll bring
- Practical handyman and gardening skills
- ability to use small excavator and operate ride on mower
- Ability to work independently and manage time well
- Good communication and record-keeping skills
- Willingness to take direction and work collaboratively
- Knowledge of pool maintenance (advantageous, but training can be provided)
This position is primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional agreed overtime during busy periods
Live in the onsite Caretakers residence
Job Type: Permeant Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 per year + Superannuation
Expected hours: 40 per week (agreed overtime available)
