Learn and Laugh Children's Centre – Randwick NSW
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday at our purpose-built Randwick centre offering quality care to 55 children a day. You will work with Pre-School children aged 3-5 years and be fully supported in your role with professional development opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and implement a quality program that reflects the EYLF
- Develop open communication with educators, children and families
- Use progressive routines throughout the day and implement indoor and outdoor programs to respond to the needs of individual children
- Create indoor and outdoor learning environments that provide the children with opportunities to explore, experiment, create, take risks and play
- Facilitate children's play through weaving the children's emerging interests with professional expertise
- Communicate positively and openly with children on an ongoing basis
- Provide physical care, assisting children in daily routines and mealtimes
- Conduct observation and evaluation of children's development
- Maintain up-to-date records for each child within the group
- Respond to the emotional needs of the children
About you
- Diploma in Early Childhood Services (ACECQA approved) or currently studying towards your Diploma
- First aid / CPR / Asthma and Anaphylaxis training and current certification (or willingness to obtain)
