For more than 30 years, our curiosity and commitment to continual improvement has kept us reimagining productivity tools for lawyers and their staff to support our guiding purpose, to 'Help lawyers who help people'. The market-leading software we develop and support is used by more than 71,000 lawyers and their staff in small and medium-sized law firms.
Working alongside our international team of passionate high achievers, you'll join a fast-growing technology business where things seldom stay the same for long. Meet the People team
LEAP proudly provides cutting edge LegalTech with a human touch and our People team are dedicated to giving LEAPsters the space, support and empowerment they need to be their best selves at work and do the best work of their careers. From the moment people join LEAP to their final day, you'll ensure their experience is unmatched.
What you'll do
- Lead and coach our P&C Partners, own the employee lifecycle from hire to exit, and ensure our leaders and LEAPsters get people support that’s fast, consistent and commercially sensible.
- Run a smooth operating rhythm, deliver the people calendar, manage risk and quality, and grow a team that does great work.
- Own the ANZ people calendar - performance and salary reviews, engagement, onboarding, offboarding, and reward and recognition.
- Handle complex employee relations issues as the senior escalation point for performance, misconduct, grievances and restructures.
- Own ANZ policies, procedures and process documentation, ensuring compliance with Australian and New Zealand employment law.
- Bring together a clear view of performance and potential across ANZ, ensuring succession plans are in place for critical roles.
- Own ANZ people reporting - headcount, attrition, hiring and ER trends.
What you'll bring
- You have owned P&C before and led and grown a team of People professionals.
- You prefer to build, test and improve rather than spend months planning.
- You make others shine and leaders trust your advice.
- You coach, not just manage, building capability in others.
- You are confident with Australian employment law and complex ER, with New Zealand exposure preferred.
- You build and document simple processes that make a People team reliable.
- You use data to prioritise, tell the story and drive better decisions.
