Project Associate

Full-Time On-site
L

An exciting opportunity for a Clinical Project Associate to work within an innovative MedTech environment combining clinical research, medical imaging and AI-driven technology.

You’ll support the planning and delivery of clinical studies and research projects that contribute to AI development, regulatory submissions and scientific publications.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the operational side of clinical research but also wants exposure to technology, product development and medical imaging.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the day-to-day delivery of clinical studies and research projects.
  • Coordinate with CROs, clinical sites, investigators and external vendors.
  • Assist with study start-up, monitoring, project tracking and reporting.
  • Support the development of study protocols, project plans, training materials and regulatory documentation.
  • Assist with image and clinical data management processes.
  • Monitor study deviations, trends, data readiness and data quality.
  • Maintain accurate study documentation and applicable Trial Master Files (TMF).
  • Collaborate across Clinical Development, R&D and Quality/Regulatory teams.
  • Depending on your background and training, contribute to cardiac CT image analysis and image-analysis methodology development.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Around 1–3 years' experience in project management involving clinical research or other research projects.
  • Familiarity with international clinical research regulations and ethical standards, including ICH-GCP.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • MS Word and Excel proficiency; MS Project exposure would be beneficial.

You could be working as a:

Clinical Research Associate | Clinical Trial Associate | Clinical Project Coordinator | Clinical Research Coordinator | Biomedical Engineer | Research Project Officer

You don't necessarily need to come from a traditional pharmaceutical clinical-trials pathway. Prior clinical research experience is preferred.

Why Consider It?

You're not simply coordinating traditional clinical trials — you're helping deliver research that supports AI development, regulatory evidence and scientific publications, while working alongside R&D and regulatory teams.

Some flexibility around working hours is required to collaborate between Western Australia and the US, and occasional travel may be required.
