The Opportunity
An established national law firm is seeking an Insurance Litigation Lawyer to join its growing Brisbane practice, with a particular focus on insurance recoveries.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer looking to develop their expertise in insurance litigation while working with a broad range of insurer and commercial clients.
About the Role
You will be involved in:
- Managing insurance recovery matters, including property damage and motor vehicle claims.
- Conducting litigation from initial assessment through to resolution.
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence, advice and settlement documentation.
- Assessing liability, quantum and recovery prospects.
- Negotiating settlements and resolving disputes.
- Liaising with insurers, clients, experts and external stakeholders.
- Working closely with experienced senior lawyers on complex matters.
About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Experience in insurance litigation, recoveries, property damage or commercial disputes.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and file management skills.
- The ability to manage matters independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- A commercial approach to dispute resolution and client service.
