You will be joining a dynamic team with clients across a variety of industries, giving you a varied workflow and plenty of great learning opportunities. The firm is committed to providing mentoring and development to help you progress your career in line with your goals, and regular tax training sessions will ensure you are well equipped to liaise with and assist your clients. You will also be a point of contact for junior accountants, answering questions as they arise, assisting with processes and providing training where required.
In this role, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT and payroll tax
- Preparation of annual compliance, including financial statements, tax reconciliations and income tax returns, along with all associated working papers
- Working across a variety of entities, including individuals, trusts, companies, consolidated groups and self-managed superannuation funds
- Liaising directly with clients to assist with their needs
- Supporting, guiding and training junior accountants
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, you will:
- Be currently studying or willing to commence CA / CPA
- Have 1-2 years minimum prior experience in public practice at a reputable firm
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Want to progress your career in a supportive environment
