About the role:
Lawmee is working with a boutique law firm to engage an experienced Commercial Lawyer on a flexible, contracting basis.
This opportunity is ideal for a senior lawyer seeking high-quality commercial work with the flexibility to support the firm as matters arise. You'll work autonomously, providing strategic and practical advice across a broad range of commercial matters.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the review, drafting and negotiation of complex commercial contracts, service agreements and transactional documentation
- Advising on business and asset sale and purchase transactions
- Reviewing and advising on building and construction contracts, including identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks
- Advising on corporate and business structuring matters, including shareholder and partnership agreements
- Preparing and advising on business terms and conditions, subcontractor and subconsultancy agreements
- Managing files and stakeholder relationships from commencement through to completion
Who we are looking for:
We'd like to hear from Commercial Lawyers with 10+ years' PAE gained within international, national or boutique law firms. You'll have strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, advising on business transactions, and independently managing matters from instruction through to completion. You'll also bring excellent drafting, negotiation and client management skills, together with a practical and commercially focused approach to legal advice.
