We are seeking an experienced and motivated Beauty Therapist to join our specialist medical and cosmetic skin clinic in Garran, Canberra.
This is an exciting opportunity for a therapist who enjoys working with skin concerns and wants to expand their experience in advanced aesthetic treatments. You will perform professional skin treatments and consultations in a specialist medical and cosmetic skin clinic.
Key responsibilities
Conduct skin consultations, assess individual concerns and recommend suitable treatment options.
Perform professional laser facial and skin treatments tailored to clients’ skin types and treatment goals.
Provide laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation and other advanced aesthetic treatments within your qualifications, training and scope of practice.
Recommend professional skincare products and personalised home-care routines.
Educate clients about treatment preparation, expected outcomes and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate consultation notes, treatment records and client documentation.
Build positive and professional relationships with clients through personalised care.
Assist with appointment coordination, client enquiries and skincare product sales.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, equipment care, workplace safety and infection control.
Work collaboratively with the clinic team to provide consistent, high-quality client care.
About you
Relevant qualifications and practical experience in beauty therapy, skin treatments or a closely related field.
Experience performing professional facial and skin treatments.
An interest in skin health, skin science and advanced aesthetic technologies.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A professional, caring and approachable manner.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to client safety.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small clinic team.
Willingness to undertake ongoing training and professional development.
Competitive annual salary of $78,000-$88,000 plus superannuation, depending on relevant experience.
