Lantrak Environmental is seeking a capable Plant Operator to join our Queensland project team, working across environmental, remediation and earthworks sites throughout South East Queensland.
We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a good attitude and the ability to work well with the crew. For the right person, there’s an opportunity to grow into a Leading Hand role as the team develops.

For more than 60 years, Lantrak has provided practical materials management, transport and plant hire solutions to the civil and commercial construction sectors. Our Environmental team delivers remediation and environmental project works, with a focus on safe, practical outcomes.
About the Role
Working as part of our project team, you will:
- Operate plant and machinery safely and efficiently across a range of project sites.
- Complete earthworks, material handling and site preparation activities.
- Follow site procedures, project requirements and supervisor instructions.
- Carry out daily pre-starts, routine checks and basic equipment care.
- Work closely with the crew to keep projects moving and maintain a safe, organised site.
About You
Ideally, you will have:
- Relevant tickets and operating experience across excavators, dozers, rollers and positracks.
- Class A and Class B asbestos removal training.
- Final trim experience, which would be highly regarded.
- A Construction White Card and current driver’s licence.
- A strong work ethic, reliable attendance and a practical approach.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and support the team.
- The ability to travel to project sites throughout South East Queensland.
This role would suit someone based in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast.
