Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to assess and evaluate strategic initiatives aligned to business growth priorities
- Conducting research and analysis on industry developments, competitive activity, market trends and strategic opportunities
- Supporting strategic projects including M&A, market entry and capability development initiatives
- Building and maintaining financial models to support commercial and strategic decision-making
- Analysing complex internal and external data sources to generate actionable insights
- Preparing high-quality presentations and reports for executive leadership and Board-level discussions
- Supporting annual strategy workshops and enterprise planning activities
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the strategy function
About You:
You will bring a strong combination of strategic thinking, analytical capability and commercial acumen, with prior experience gained in strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate finance or financial services.
- 4 plus years' experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate finance, investment banking or a related field
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Experience interpreting market intelligence, industry research and complex data sets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Advanced PowerPoint and presentation development skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within financial services or asset management will be highly regarded
