Cleveland Estate, situated in the historic country township of Lancefield, has a brilliant opportunity available for a talented professional, Gardener to join us at our stunning, iconic property.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Deliver exceptional presentation of the gardens, wedding sites and outdoor spaces across the Hotel.
- Grounds maintenance exclusive of vines and viticulture.
- Hands-on role with a solid understanding of managing a large garden property.
- Knowledge of modern techniques in lawn mowing and edging, pruning trees and shrubs, clipping of topiary, fertilizing, planting, turfing, pest and disease control.
- Make recommendations on the Hotel grounds and assist with the long-term planning and development of the complex.

- Success in a similar role and exposure to a large scale garden operation.
- An acute eye for detail and development of solutions to ensure the high standard is maintained.
- A good working knowledge of various types of associated equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure in a varied, fast-paced environment, by taking initiative and working collaboratively.
- Positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
