The Bar at Karratha Airport offers tap and bottled beers, packaged spirits, hot snacks, burgers, and light meals. Coffee-style food, including breakfast items, sandwiches and other grab-and-go offerings keeps customers satisfied for their journey!
We are on the lookout for enthusiastic Cooks to join our team in a Casual capacity at Karratha Airport. As a Kitchen Cook, you'll be an essential part of our culinary team, preparing high-quality meals that delight our customers. You'll follow recipes, maintain food hygiene standards, and ensure every dish is prepared efficiently and consistently.
What You'll Do:
- Cooking and serving of customer meals to order
- Daily food preparation, plating and packing orders
- Cleaning and maintenance of cooking and food preparation areas
- Setup or shutdown of kitchen
- Assistance with daily stock take and rotation of stock
- General kitchen duties where required
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a busy kitchen or food service environment
- Confident working independently and as part of a wider team
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and WHS practices with a current food safety certificate
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster (early mornings, late nights and weekends)
- Valid working rights and ability to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card
