Our client, a National Leader in the Plastics Manufacturing, now has an exciting opportunity for Extrusion Machine Operators / Technicians to join their growing team. You will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art factory for a multinational company located in Sydney South-West.
12 Hour Shifts in a Rotating 24/7 Roster (Includes Weekend Work). IMMEDIATE Start for the right applicants. Temp - permanent role.
Your duties will include, but will not be limited to the following:
- Quality Assurance, ensuring products are within required standards
- Measuring Products diameter continuously
- Operating plastic extrusion machine
- Manual handling / forklift operating
- General factory duties where required
Experience with Micrometer preferred but not essential. Updating extrusion reports on a daily basis.
To be successful for this role, you MUST:
- Have previous experience with Plastic Profile Extrusion Machinery / Plastics Industry
- Have a current LF Forklift License
- Have a great work ethic with reliability and commitment
- Have good mechanical aptitude with the mindset to work unsupervised
- Have a "can do" attitude with an ability to be part of a team
- Have a high attention to detail
- Be able to commence ASAP
- Have good communication skills
- Be safety conscious
- Have your own reliable transportation
- Have the ability to work on a 7-day 24hr rotating roster (including weekends)

Previous experience within the Plastics Industry would be highly desirable; however, a strong background in manufacturing and stable work history will also be taken into consideration.
