LaManna & Sons is seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Sandwich Hand to join our team in Cremorne! We are a proud family-run business that believes in teamwork and continuous improvement.
About the Role
We have casual, full-time and part-time positions available. Our café is getting busier, and we are looking for reliable and motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, friendly team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble fresh sandwiches, wraps, panini and other food items according to recipes and presentation standards;
- Wash, cut, slice and prepare fresh ingredients, including vegetables, meats, cheese and fillings;
- Ensure food is prepared accurately and efficiently during busy service periods;
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and replenish ingredients throughout the day;
- Perform other reasonable kitchen duties as directed by Management;
- Complete kitchen tasks efficiently and consistently;
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene;
- Work both independently and as part of a strong team;
- Manage time well and perform under pressure.
