Due to continual growth, KwikFlo Group is seeking to recruit capable Civil Plumbing Pipelayers & Drainers to join our team.
What you'll be doing:
- Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to install various types of underground pipes and conduits accurately and to specification.
- Operate specialised equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and pipe-laying machinery.
- Perform trench preparation, bedding, and backfilling to ensure proper pipe support and protection.
- Follow all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other construction workers and trade professionals to coordinate pipe installation activities.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of work performed.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Civil Pipe Layer & Drainer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Skilled in the operation of excavators, backhoes, and other pipe-laying equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's licence and certification for operating construction equipment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
- Commitment to following all relevant health, safety, and environmental protocols.
