KW Earthmoving & Concreting are situated in Gol Gol, NSW 2738 and are seeking reliable, safety-focused operators to join our team. Casual positions are available immediately, with the potential to move into full-time roles depending on performance and ongoing workload.
Locations: Mildura & Surrounds (local work) & Broken Hill
Employment Type: Casual, with opportunity to transition to Full Time based on performance and business needs. Local work with consistent hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate trucks & trailers safely and professionally
- Daily haulage tasks including loading, carting, tipping and deliveries
- Use loader to load own truck when required
- Complete pre-start checks and report defects
- Maintain accurate paperwork (logbooks, run sheets, dockets, timesheets)
- Follow all road laws, site rules and company safety procedures
- Ensure loads are restrained correctly and comply with CoR
- Communicate clearly with allocators, clients and site personnel
- Keep the truck clean and presentable
Requirements:
- Current MC/ HC licence
- White Card
- Experience in transport, quarry, earthmoving or construction
- Strong understanding of CoR, load restraint and fatigue management
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
Additional Responsibilities:
- Operate dump trucks or water trucks safely on construction site.
- Follow directions from supervisors and spotters and other operators
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and report defects immediately
- Operate water trucks for dust suppression and safe road conditions
- Work within strict safety, environmental and fatigue guidelines
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and other operators
- Complete required paperwork accurately
- Report hazards, incidents and near misses promptly
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in earthmoving and civil
- White Card
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures
- Reliable, punctual and able to work in a structured environment
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions
