Assistant Manager – Kürtősh West End
About the Role
Working closely with the Store Manager, you will:
- Support daily café operations, keeping service organised and efficient.
- Lead shifts and guide the team during busy periods.
- Help train and develop baristas, bakers, and front-of-house staff.
- Maintain consistent standards in coffee preparation, baking, food presentation, and customer service.
- Assist with stock ordering, inventory control, and waste management.
- Support rostering and manage staffing needs during your shifts.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming café and follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
- Take responsibility for the café when the Store Manager is away.
About You
You bring:
- At least two years’ experience in a café or hospitality supervisory role.
- A hands-on approach and the confidence to lead by example.
- Strong barista skills and a passion for quality food and coffee.
- Clear communication skills and a supportive approach to teamwork.
- The ability to stay calm, organised, and customer-focused under pressure.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and stock control.
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends, late nights, and public holidays.
- A current Food Safety Supervisor certificate. (Optional)
