The Opportunity:
We are growing! And that means an exciting opportunity for an experienced heavy vehicle truck and trailer diesel mechanic who's ready to enjoy the benefits of a large, established National team! Joining the dayshift mechanics, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing European and American trucks, trailers, and equipment, with added experience of a brand-new dangerous goods fleet including bulk tankers.
What you'll bring:
- Perform servicing repairs and preventative maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose issues and complete testing using advanced diagnostic technology
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance completed
- Manage relationships with external suppliers for parts and services
- Maintain equipment and vehicles to company and manufacturer standards
You will have:
- Trade qualification in heavy diesel mechanic & proven experience
- HR/HC or MC License highly desirable - or willing to obtain
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively
