The Metropole team is growing and we're seeking an experienced Duty Manager/Gaming Lead to oversee gaming operations and drive commercial performance within a high-volume hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of gaming operations within the venue; working closely with the Venue Manager to deliver strong commercial results, excellent guest experiences and consistently high compliance standards.
- Lead from the front and set high standards, ensuring the smooth operation of the venue.
- Maximise gaming room performance through revenue growth, increased patron visitation and retention and outstanding customer engagement.
- Inspire and develop your team to deliver exceptional service; creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visitation and long-term patron loyalty.
What We're Looking For
- A passionate hospitality professional who understands what being hands-on means.
- Previous experience as a Gaming Manager, Gaming Supervisor or senior gaming team member is essential.
- Strong commercial understanding of gaming performance and KPIs (essential).
- Sound knowledge of Queensland gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements (essential).
- Experience managing a large and diverse team.
- Experience working in a high-volume environment.
- Exceptional product knowledge and ability to drive consistency and excellence.
- Business and operational acumen.
- Skills to develop staff around product knowledge, service skills, team culture and guest relationships.
- RSA and RSG certifications (essential).
- RMLV and Approved Manager credentials (preferred, but not essential).
