Consolidation and migration of Power BI Reports
Konnexus is partnering with an established organisation undertaking a Power BI report consolidation project, with a focus on simplifying its reporting landscape and improving the overall experience for business users.
We are looking for an junior-mid level Power BI Developer to help review, redesign and consolidate existing reports into a more streamlined and consistent reporting environment.
This role will suit someone who combines strong technical development skills with a creative approach to dashboard design, ensuring reporting is not only accurate and reliable but also intuitive and easy to use.
The Opportunity
- Taking ownership of Power BI solutions from initial requirements through to development and deployment.
- Creating intuitive, visually appealing dashboards that make complex information easy to understand.
- Developing sophisticated DAX calculations and improving the performance of existing reports.
- Designing and maintaining robust data models that support consistent and reliable reporting.
- Contributing to modern development practices, including source control, collaborative development and automated deployments.
- Working closely with stakeholders to challenge requirements, identify opportunities and deliver reporting that supports better decision-making.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end Power BI solutions within a complex business environment.
- Strong understanding of report design principles, with the ability to balance functionality, performance and user experience.
- Advanced DAX capability and experience working with complex semantic models.
- Familiarity with modern Power BI development approaches, including PBIP, Git and ideally TMDL.
- Experience working within Azure Dev Ops environments, with an understanding of version control, release management and CI/CD.
- Confident communicator who can work directly with business users and turn their needs into practical technical solutions.
