Support people to rebuild confidence, independence and hope. Every day, people recovering from injury or illness need support and guidance to take important steps forward. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you’ll walk alongside clients as they navigate recovery, return to work, and help them to reconnect with what matters most.

What You’ll Enjoy

  • Assess clients’ rehabilitation needs following injury or illness — physical, ergonomic, psychosocial or functional capacity evaluations.
  • Support clients to define meaningful recovery or employment goals, then co-design and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans.
  • Manage cases end-to-end: coordinate with workplaces, healthcare providers or insurers, monitor progress, adjust plans, and support sustainable outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice — ergonomic, workplace-modification, functional capacity or return-to-work — based on your clinical specialism.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders: clients, their treating practitioners, employers, insurers — helping bring everyone together around a shared goal of recovery and reintegration.

Why you’ll love working at Konekt

  • Flexibility and autonomy: Feel trusted and empowered to manage your own diary.
  • Leaders who get you: Be supported and mentored to achieve your goals by leaders who were once clinicians.
  • Tools to succeed: mobile, laptop, training and strong clinical frameworks.
  • Benefits that matter: incentives, salary sacrificing and optional extra leave.

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy, physiotherapy or exercise physiology.
  • Registration with AHPRA or ESSA as an EP.
  • Pass a national criminal check, prior to commencing employment.
  • A current WWCC (Working with children check).
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • A driver’s licence and willingness to work in different settings (workplaces, client homes, remote-onsite assessments and coordinate across stakeholders).
  • A collaborative, problem-solving mindset, accompanied by professional integrity.
  • A genuine commitment to client-centred care, empathy, strong communication and adaptability across diverse client needs.
