We’re looking for an experienced Operations & Logistics Coordinator with a solid working knowledge of broadcast and production equipment to lead the operational and technical logistics backbone of KOJO’s delivery across APAC.

You’ll plan and coordinate the equipment, inventory, logistics and processes that support world‑class sport presentation, broadcast and live events.

Working alongside Technical Managers, you’ll help scope, build and prepare production kits for deployment, while taking ownership of asset tracking, equipment maintenance and cross‑hire.

Working closely with the GM of Delivery, Head of Technical Services, Producers and Technical Managers, you’ll ensure our teams have the resources and information they need to deliver safely, efficiently and on budget.

You’ll also develop scalable systems that support KOJO’s growing APAC and global portfolio.

About You

You’re an operational leader who enjoys bringing structure to busy production environments and solving complex logistical challenges.

You’re comfortable working with technical equipment, translating project requirements into practical plans and keeping multiple projects moving to tight deadlines.

You combine attention to detail with forward planning, build strong relationships with technical teams and suppliers, and look for ways to improve equipment readiness, utilisation and operational efficiency.

  • You’ll Bring
  • Demonstrated experience in operations, logistics or asset management within broadcast, live production, events or a related technical industry.
  • Working knowledge of broadcast and production equipment—including cameras, vision and audio systems, replay, communications, signal transport and power distribution—to support kit scoping, builds and basic fault triage.
  • Experience using asset, inventory or rental management systems such as Current RMS, Flex or similar.
  • Proven experience managing suppliers, equipment cross-hire and freight.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects to tight deadlines.
  • A practical approach to budgets, planning, reporting and operational improvement.
  • A current driver’s licence. A forklift licence is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical kit preparation
  • Work with Technical Managers to turn technical briefs into equipment lists, quantities and logistics plans.
  • Assist with building and testing production kits, including fly away kits, before deployment.
  • Prepare, pack, label and dispatch equipment to agreed specifications and timelines, then manage returns, check-in and turnaround.
  • Identify equipment shortfalls and recommend solutions using owned stock or cross-hire.
  • Asset management and maintenance
  • Own and develop KOJO’s asset register, maintaining accurate visibility of equipment location, condition and utilisation across the warehouse, outside broadcast (OB) trucks, fly away kits and project sites.
  • Use asset and forecasting systems to support capacity planning and future purchasing decisions.
  • Schedule servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance, coordinating internal technical staff and external service providers.
  • Manage fault reports, repair tracking, warranty claims and safe equipment storage.
  • Cross-hire, suppliers and logistics
  • Source cross-hire equipment and negotiate supplier rates, availability and delivery.
  • Forecast cross-hire requirements and communicate upcoming needs to delivery and technical services leadership.
  • Track cross-hired equipment, manage project charges and ensure equipment is checked and returned on time.
  • Maintain preferred supplier relationships and identify procurement efficiencies.
  • Coordinate national freight, technical resources and project travel, managing logistics, freight and operational budgets.
  • Systems and operational improvement
  • Develop scalable operational systems and standard operating procedures.
  • Report on equipment utilisation, project pipeline, capacity and operational risks.
  • Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety, compliance, risk management and contingency planning.
  • Support the onboarding of technical staff and model KOJO’s values and commitment to creative excellence.
  • Special Conditions
  • Out-of-hours work and intrastate, interstate and potentially international travel may be required.
  • Where pre‑approved by your manager and in accordance with company policy, additional hours worked to meet operational requirements beyond reasonable additional hours will accrue as time in lieu.
