About the role:
Join the dynamic team at Kitchens U Build as a Showroom Sales Designer. This part-time role is for 3-4 days a week based in Traralgon Vic and will see you playing a key part in providing exceptional customer service and design solutions for our clients looking to create their dream kitchens.
The purpose of this position is to deliver outstanding quality customer service and provide design solutions for our clients looking to create their dream kitchen, laundry and wardrobes. The key objective will be to maximise showroom revenue; deliver and ideally exceed the outcomes required to meet the overall company sales objectives.
You will also be required to complete CAD drawings and finalise ordering of their kitchen so a background in cabinet making would be a great advantage.
Business hours are Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm & Friday 9am - 4pm.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Follow our sales methodology in our design and sales process
- Assisting customers in the showroom, answering enquiries and guiding them through the design process
- Utilising your design skills to create customised kitchen CAD plans and proposals that meet the needs of each client
- Providing expert advice on kitchen materials, finishes and appliances to help customers make informed decisions
- Coordinating with the production team to ensure the timely delivery and installation of kitchens
- Maintaining an organised and visually appealing showroom
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing retail or design role, preferably within the home improvement or kitchen industry
- A minimum of 1-2 years of customer-facing retail or design experience is required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to understand and translate customer requirements
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to sales targets
- Relevant qualifications in cabinetry design would be highly regarded
- Valid work visa or appropriate Australian work authorisation is required
