Your New Role
Kingston Human Capital are currently supporting a Brisbane-based public sector organisation to appoint a practical, delivery-focused workforce development / learning professional who can lead implementation of learning, onboarding and capability initiatives in a complex operational environment.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Lead implementation and continuous improvement of a leadership program, coordinating online and face-to-face components, learning content updates, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead delivery and refinement of a digital onboarding solution that tailors content, workflow and notifications by role and location, using tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint.
- Oversee the review, maintenance and quality assurance of learning content, digital resources, workflows and supporting materials to ensure they are current, accessible and fit for purpose.
About You
You will be someone with strong capability in adult learning, instructional design, e-learning and digital learning systems, combined with the ability to drive implementation and continuous improvement. You are a confident engager who can work across business and technical stakeholders, coordinate delivery, and help embed practical, user-focused solutions. You drive progress rather than waiting for direction. You bring learning design and systems capability to make sound decisions about content, structure, usability and delivery. You work effectively with technical build resources while leading the business-side coordination, engagement and implementation. You deliver practical, sustainable solutions that are adopted and maintained over time.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience leading workforce development, onboarding, learning or capability projects.
- Strong working knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, blended learning approaches and digital learning environments.
- Experience developing, coordinating or improving online learning content, e-learning resources, onboarding workflows or systems-enabled learning solutions.
- Experience and confidence in facilitating workshops, in particular train-the-trainer style workshops (face-to-face, online and hybrid settings).
- Strong stakeholder engagement and consultation skills, including working with subject matter experts, service areas, regional stakeholders and technical resources.
- Able to coordinate implementation, manage competing priorities and maintain accountability for delivery.
- Comfortable using feedback, participation data and reporting to improve programme outcomes and user experience.
- Ability to successfully pass a Criminal History Check prior to commencement.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the QLD Government would be very highly regarded.
Benefits for You
- Initial contract to 31 January 2027.
- Potential 3-month extension.
- $92.48 β $99.09 per Hour + Superannuation.
- 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Office easily accessible via public transport, and onsite parking available.
- Weekly pay cycles through Kingston, with no payroll fees.
- Expert public sector consultants to support you throughout your assignment.
