We are on the search for an experienced Psychologist who is compassionate, has a client-centred approach, and can work collaboratively to help individuals develop the skills to navigate life challenges.
About the opportunity:
- Supporting and providing psychological assessment and treatment from young people through to adults on the full range of disorders and presentations.
- Providing high standard assessments, psychological, counselling, and therapeutic interventions.
- Liaising and working with internal and external stakeholders.
We can offer two types of arrangements:
- Working with us under room rental where you have use of our room and common facilities on a sessional rate but handle all the back end of your practice yourself.
- Working with us as an independent contractor, where we handle all the admin (bookings, billings, admin support, software for patient management, marketing).
Inclusions:
- Use of internet, electricity, water.
- Shared access to kitchen facilities and staff bathroom.
- Use of our waiting room.
- Patient chairs, cupboard and sink in consulting room.
- Invitations to participate in monthly team meetings to socialise with the team.
- A bio listing on our website linking to your booking platform / website / social media.
Skills and Experiences:
- Full registration with AHPRA.
- Eligible to register with Medicare.
- Working with children check and police check.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the field.
- Managing a case load, case notes, review letters, ethical responsibilities, and professional development requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly and easily.
- Ability to liaise with general practitioners, psychiatrists, other allied health professionals and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of and competency with assessment, formulation, and implementation of treatment plans.
