We're searching for new drivers to be the face of Kinetic. Help us take people where they need to go and join Australasia's largest and fastest-growing bus operator. If you've got previous experience operating buses or heavy vehicles, all you need to bring is your smile, energy, passion and commitment to creating awesome experiences for our customers, communities, and teammates.
The Opportunity
We are looking for highly motivated people who enjoy interacting with the public and have a genuine passion for providing great customer service.
- Multiple Positions available
- Great pay rates from $36.23 (base) per hour
- Working out of our Tweed Heads Depot
You will be trained to achieve high standards in all parts of your work including safe driving practices. A 12-month training program to gain a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Driving Operations - Bus).
With a strong focus on customer service and providing a safe journey for our passengers, our bus drivers are fully trained to play a vital part in all facets of customer service, ticket sales and a range of bus services including general routes, charters and special events driving.
What boxes do you need to tick? We're looking for customer-focused people who put customers first and take pride in delivering excellent service. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A strong customer-first attitude and a genuine enjoyment of working with the public
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A current MR Driver's Licence (minimum requirement)
- The willingness and ability to obtain a Queensland Driver Authorisation
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and health history check
- Australian working rights
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
