New Graduate Occupational Therapist 2027 Support at Home and NDIS, adults. Adelaide based, full time or part time, multiple positions. $78,000 plus super, with a $4,800 travel allowance on top.
Kindly Healthcare is an allied health team working across Adelaide and surrounds. We’re OTs and physios doing in home and community work with adults. We’re looking for new grad OTs for 2027 who want to start in the community and be properly looked after while they do it.
Your first four months:
- Every new grad OT at Kindly starts with our 4 month induction program.
- It moves gently through three stages: watching out on the road with our senior OTs, supported practice with simpler clients, and a balanced caseload that widens as you’re ready for it.
- Weekly supervision runs the whole way through, finishing with a proper review and a plan for your next 6 to 12 months.
Why you’ll like it here:
- Community: We put real effort into the team part with events, workshops, fundraisers, and PD every month.
- Support: Your weekly supervision is locked in, and your supervising OT knows your goals.
- Growth: Once you’ve found your feet, where you take it is your call, and we’ll help you get there.
What’s in it for you:
- $78,000 plus super.
- A travel allowance of $4,800 a year.
- Work life balance that actually works, with a caseload built for normal weeks.
- Monthly PD, at a minimum.
- Tech and tools provided, including a laptop and necessary equipment.
- Free Pilates and other health benefits.
- Kindly swag with uniform options.
The bit about targets:
You won’t have billable targets during the program. After that, we work one out with you, set individually around your salary and your caseload.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working with adults and older adults across Support at Home and NDIS, in their homes and in the community.
- Home safety assessments and falls prevention.
- Assistive technology assessment and prescription.
- Home modifications, starting with rails and ramps.
- Ongoing therapy and capacity building.
- Functional Capacity Assessments, shared at first with the team.
- Working alongside our physios and the rest of the team.
What we’re looking for:
- You’re finishing your OT degree this year, or you’ve recently graduated.
- You’ll be AHPRA registered by your start date.
- A good communicator who likes people.
- A current driver licence and a reliable car.
