We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Production Chef / Cook who enjoys bulk cooking, working as part of a team and keeping things running smoothly in a busy kitchen.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking meals in large batches following standard recipes
- Operating commercial kitchen equipment and production machinery
- Assisting with food preparation, portioning and packaging
- Maintaining food quality, consistency and presentation
- Following HACCP, food safety and hygiene procedures
- Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
- Working closely with the production team to meet daily targets
About you:
- Experience in bulk cooking or high-volume food production is highly regarded
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements
- Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks and manual handling of up to 25 kg
- Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
