Membrane, recycled water and wastewater projects.

Flexibility to work from home.

About the Company

Keystone People Solutions is partnering with a well-established Australian water infrastructure business that owns and operates its own water assets and provides operational and engineering support to clients nationally. Their in-house engineering and projects team works across the full project lifecycle, from concept design and approvals through to detailed design, construction management and commissioning. Because they also run plants, their engineering is practical and grounded in how assets actually operate. With strong growth in their engineering and projects team, they are now seeking an experienced engineer to join them in Perth.

About the Role

Working within the Engineering and Projects team, you will split your time between project design and delivery and technical support to company-owned and client-operated water, wastewater and recycled water plants. You will:

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects from concept through to commissioning.
  • Provide technical support to operating sites, including troubleshooting and process optimisation.
  • Support projects involving membrane-based treatment systems.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports and calculations.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors and operations teams.

About You

This role is open to either a Process Engineer or a Project Engineer.

Process Engineers: a degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred (related engineering disciplines considered), with at least 3 to 5 years' experience in water, wastewater or recycled water design, construction or operation.

Project Engineers: proven project delivery experience on water infrastructure, ideally including membrane systems (RO, UF, MF or MBR).

You will also bring:

  • Water network modelling or GIS experience (advantageous, not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • A track record of practical problem solving.
  • The ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Australian citizenship is essential for this role due to Federal Government security requirements. A current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain one) is also required.

What's on Offer

$130K to $160K base depending on experience, plus STI, LTI and superannuation. Flexibility to work from home. Varied municipal, industrial and agricultural projects with national exposure. Career growth in an expanding engineering team.
