Kenmore Clinics has been providing high-quality, patient-centred healthcare to the Western suburbs of Brisbane for over 50 years. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our friendly and collaborative general practice team.
This is an opportunity to work alongside our GPs and healthcare professionals, providing a broad range of nursing services to patients across all stages of life. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, takes pride in delivering quality care and is confident working in a busy general practice environment.
This is a casual position located in Kenmore - (approximately 15-25 hours per week), with the view to permanency following a successful probation period. Hourly rate may vary dependent on whether you are applying as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse.
What you’ll be doing
Providing patient assessments, health assessments and supporting chronic disease management
Undertaking patient triage and assisting with clinical enquiries
Administering vaccinations and medications
Providing wound care, dressings and other nursing treatments
Performing ECGs, spirometry and other clinical procedures
Assisting with minor surgical procedures
Maintaining sterilisation, infection prevention and control standards
Supporting preventative health initiatives and patient education
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and patient records
Working collaboratively with GPs and the wider healthcare team to support safe, high-quality patient care
What we’re looking for
Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
Previous general practice nursing experience is desirable
Strong clinical assessment, communication and organisational skills
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
A patient-focused approach with a commitment to quality and safety
Current CPR certification
