The Opportunity

The ILS Supply Specialist reports directly to the Maintenance Baseline Uplift Project Lead to restore and validate the integrity of supply support and allowance data underpinning the Product Baseline, ensuring alignment between configuration, maintenance and logistics systems to enable a Defence‑approved, sustainable PBS baseline transition to Recurring Services.

Within the scope of the project, the Baseline Uplift Project ILS Supply Specialist applies Defence supply support, codification and cataloguing, and allowance management expertise to identify and remediate misalignment across APLs, allowances, ERP and related logistics systems.

  • Support product baseline uplift activities by validating that supply support data accurately reflects approved system configuration, maintenance concepts and authorised changes, in coordination with SQEPs, LSAR Analysts and Configuration Officers.
  • Manage and deliver codification and cataloguing activities, including review of part number data, supplier information and NSN status, to ensure compliant and auditable logistics data suitable for baseline incorporation.
  • Identify, assess and report supply‑related risks, including obsolescence, shortages, allowance inaccuracies and procurement constraints that may impact baseline integrity or deliverability, supporting informed project and stakeholder decision‑making.
  • Support baseline release by ensuring supply support elements are complete, internally consistent and suitably documented for ongoing management, auditability and future sustainment updates.

Essential

  • Cert IV in Materiel Logistics or equivalent or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Logistic Support Analysis within the Defence maritime domain.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Integrated Logistics Support within the Defence maritime domain.
