Our team looks after a broad mix of clients, including small-to-medium businesses, investors, SMSFs and not-for-profits. We also have a specialty niche in Management Rights for hotels and resorts. We're looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join our team. You'll work across a varied portfolio of clients and get exposure to work beyond standard compliance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, companies and trusts
- Communicating directly with clients and building strong relationships
- Assisting partners with tax planning and advisory work
About you:
- At least 2 years experience in tax compliance in a public practice
- Hands-on experience with Xero Practice Manager (XPM), Xero, Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of Australian tax legislation
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with FYI Docs and MYOB
