We believe great disability support is about building relationships, understanding people as individuals and helping them live happy, meaningful lives. We work closely with families and allied health professionals, and we're equally passionate about creating a positive, supportive workplace for our team.

Who are we looking for? We're looking for someone pretty special! An experienced House Manager who genuinely cares about people, takes pride in their work and wants to become part of our business for the long term. Someone who understands that managing a SIL home isn't just about rosters, paperwork and daily tasks. It's about creating a happy, safe and supportive home while leading a team that shares those same values. We want someone who leads with kindness and confidence, takes initiative, communicates openly and isn't afraid to have difficult conversations when needed. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who brings their own ideas, experience and personality to the role.

What will your role involve? This is a hands-on management position combining direct participant support with dedicated management responsibilities. You'll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing participant routines, support plans and individual goals.
  • Completing quarterly reports, risk assessments and essential documentation.
  • Maintaining WHS, NDIS compliance and organisational standards.
  • Managing daily house operations and assisting with staffing and rostering.
  • Responding to incidents, identifying solutions and following matters through.
  • Supporting staff development and identifying training needs.
  • Maintaining open communication with management.

You will also participate in an on-call roster approximately one week per month, including the weekend.

What matters most to us?

  • Initiative: Someone who recognises what needs doing and takes ownership.
  • Relationships: Someone who genuinely values our participants, families and staff.
  • Leadership: Someone who supports their team while maintaining professional boundaries and accountability.

  • Experience supervising, mentoring and developing staff.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and computer skills.
  • Confidence completing reports, risk assessments and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Reliability, flexibility and a genuine passion for disability support.

What can you expect from us? You'll be joining a small, family-owned business where your contribution matters, your ideas are valued and you'll work closely with management. We want you to feel supported, trusted and proud of the difference you're making.

Hours: Full-time, approximately 38 hours per week, combining hands-on support and management duties.
