Your Mission
- Provide regular care, in-servicing and maintenance of documentation, telepresence, integrated theatre equipment and instruments for customers in the field.
- Responsible for providing technical support and expertise to existing and potential customers.
- Diagnosing and solving issues where necessary.
- Provide QA control and service support including telephone/email support.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner and that all operations and outcomes conform to AS/NZS3551 and KARL STORZ Australia ISO9001 policy.
- Ensure assessment and maintenance reports are sent to customers in a timely manner.
- Ensure all work is logged and all appropriate documentation completed in a timely manner to enable efficient processing of jobs with the use of internal systems such as Salesforce and SAP.
- Work closely with the Business Units to build a complete offering for customers, from sale to service.
Your Talents
- A tertiary qualification in electrical, electrical engineering or biomedical engineering is preferred, however not essential.
- Electrical Safety Testing certification.
- Previous experience in medical devices and instrumentation.
- Sound troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, being able to work with different personalities in a hospital/ theatre environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability.
- Familiarity with hospital/surgical environments and Australian standards AS3551 and AS3200 will also be highly regarded.
- The ability to understand and impart technical knowledge across a broad portfolio of products.
