MatchWorks is looking for a driven, people-focused Employment Consultant to provide support and guidance to participants to attain suitable, meaningful employment opportunities that lead to sustainable employment outcomes.
What you’ll do
- Work with your participants to understand their strengths and goals to match them with the right employment opportunities
- Bridge the gap between job seekers and local employers by promoting their unique skills and strengths
- Link participants with training, health, and community supports for long-term success
- Support participants to develop practical career plans that unlock their potential and boost confidence
What you’ll bring
- Highly developed communication skills to provide relevant supports to participants and external stakeholders
- Ability to provide accurate and timely documentation and compliance records in accordance with Workforce Australia requirements
- A collaborative team member who brings professionalism, positivity, and a mature approach to teamwork
- Experience in customer service, recruitment, employment services, or community services
- Multilingual skills or experience engaging with culturally diverse communities
