The University of Newcastle College of International Education (CIE), operated by Kaplan University Partnerships, is excited to be expanding its operations to a new campus in Gosford Central in 2027. As part of this exciting expansion, we are seeking enthusiastic, experienced and student-focused educators to join our casual teaching team, delivering high-quality learning experiences to students undertaking our Foundation Studies, Foundation Studies in Medicine and Express Preparation Program.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing college, work with a supportive and collaborative teaching team, and make a meaningful contribution to students' academic journeys as they prepare for university study.
Teaching Opportunities
We are particularly interested in hearing from suitably qualified educators with experience teaching:
- Digital Literacy
We also welcome expressions of interest from educators across our broader range of subject areas, with additional teaching opportunities potentially becoming available as our Gosford campus grows.

About you
We are looking for educators who:
- Are passionate about teaching and supporting students to achieve their academic goals
- Have relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated expertise in their subject area
- Bring engaging, inclusive and student-centred approaches to teaching and learning
- Are confident working with students from diverse cultural, linguistic and educational backgrounds
- Have strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Enjoy collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive and supportive teaching environment
Previous experience teaching in a university pathway, foundation studies or tertiary education environment will be highly regarded.
