We are seeking an experienced MPLS-TP Network Design Engineer for a full-time, permanent position based in Sydney or Melbourne.
What You’ll Do
- Develop HLDs, LLDs, network topology diagrams and interface specifications.
- Design and deliver MPLS-TP networks with expertise in QoS, OAM, protection switching and synchronisation.
- Work with Hitachi MPLS-TP equipment and FOXMAN/UNEM NMS.
- Support VMR transport integration, including V.28 and 4W E&M interfaces.
- Plan and execute FAT, FIT, SAT and SIT activities.
- Lead network testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and cutover support.
- Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with project stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience in MPLS-TP network design and implementation.
- Practical knowledge of Hitachi equipment and FOXMAN/UNEM NMS.
- Experience in network integration, testing and commissioning.
- Excellent technical documentation and problem-solving skills.
