About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play an important role in maintaining the financial integrity of the business while providing commercial insight and support across a range of operational areas.
This is a broad commercial accounting role that partners closely with operational leaders, helping them understand performance, identify opportunities and make informed decisions.
Key responsibilities include
- Monthly management reporting and financial analysis
- General ledger management and financial controls
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Capital expenditure reporting and administration
- Taxation, compliance and group reporting support
- Cost analysis and operational performance reporting
- Business partnering and decision support
- Process improvement and reporting automation initiatives
About You
You may be an experienced Financial Accountant seeking broader commercial exposure, or an ambitious accountant ready to accelerate your development in a role with genuine responsibility and scope.
You’ll ideally bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CA qualification, or active progress towards completion
- Commercial accounting experience within industry
- Exposure to manufacturing, agribusiness, food production or other operational environments
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Advanced Excel capability and ERP experience
- The ability to communicate financial information in a practical and meaningful way
- A genuine interest in understanding how businesses operate
