We have renovated an abandoned flour mill in Junee and created a licorice and chocolate factory that is now a known tourism facility within the Riverina. Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Store Manager to lead our chocolate shop located within the iconic Big Banana Fun Park in Coffs Harbour. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys retail, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and can confidently manage the day-to-day operations of a busy store.
About the Role: As Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maintaining efficient stock control and store presentation.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience
- Manage daily store operations and opening/closing procedures
- Handle cash management, banking, reconciliations and end-of-day balancing
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, stock ordering and stock rotation
- Receive and process incoming stock deliveries
- Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation standards
- Train, supervise and support team members
- Ensure workplace health and safety procedures are followed
- Assist customers with product knowledge and recommendations
- Work closely with management to achieve sales and operational goals
About You: To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational and inventory management abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash and stock
- A trustworthy, reliable and professional attitude
- The ability to work independently and lead a small team
- A positive, can-do approach and strong work ethic
- Availability to work weekends, public holidays and peak tourism periods as required
