Jt Landscape Constructions – Hurstbridge VIC
This is a hands-on position suited to an experienced landscaper who takes pride in their workmanship, has strong leadership skills and can confidently lead a team on-site. You will work closely with management to coordinate daily site activities, supervise team members and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The successful applicant will be confident working independently, solving problems on-site and taking ownership of their projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a small team of landscapers and labourers on-site.
- Coordinate daily work activities and ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Carry out a wide variety of landscaping and construction tasks.
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and project specifications.
- Set out jobs accurately and ensure work is completed to a high standard.
- Manage materials, tools and equipment on-site.
- Operate machinery and equipment where qualified and competent.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite.
- Communicate effectively with management, team members, builders and clients.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues and work proactively to keep projects moving.
About you
- A recognised landscaping qualification or equivalent industry experience.
- Several years of hands-on landscaping and construction experience.
- Previous experience leading a team or taking responsibility for a job site.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping construction methods and materials.
- The ability to read plans, organise work and work independently.
- A strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- A current driver's licence.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
