Join a fast-growing boutique compliance and governance risk consultancy as a foundational member of the team, supporting a high-calibre blue-chip client base.
We are a specialist compliance and governance risk practice, backed by an established professional services group. Only two years in, we already partner with leading clients. You will help shape the future of the practice as it grows, with exceptional mentorship and exposure to a wide variety of clients.
What role will you play?
In this role, you will report to the General Manager, Head of Compliance Advisory, and support clients across the full spectrum of compliance and governance risk matters, from systems and controls design to regulatory investigations, policy uplift and advisory projects.
You will provide expert advice on transformation projects, regulatory implementation and remediation programs, and contribute to the review and development of risk and compliance frameworks, standards and policies. You will also undertake compliance monitoring and assurance activities, support clients with regulatory impact assessments and the implementation of regulatory change, and take part in business development, including client presentations, proposals and networking events.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their compliance career who is curious, eager to learn, and ready to build deep foundations in regulatory compliance, learning from experienced senior consultants as you develop both technical and advisory skills.
What You Offer
- At least 3 years’ experience in compliance or risk, ideally within a domestic bank or well-known investment bank, or gained in a consulting environment with complex regulatory and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent analytical capability, including the ability to interpret regulations and apply them to varied client scenarios
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities
- Strong stakeholder and client-relationship skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate confidently
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to articulate findings, recommendations and assessments with precision
- An innovative, adaptable mindset, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-moving environment and to work autonomously while contributing to a highly collaborative team
Why work with us?
We promote a collaborative culture where people feel respected, valued and supported both personally and professionally, and where diversity and inclusion also play an important role in enhancing our knowledge, driving innovative solutions for our clients and creating positive social impact.
