Kyogle Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department and Medical/Paediatric Short Stay ward on a contract basis. This is a six-week minimum engagement starting from 7 September, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment. The role is remunerated at AUD$45.00 to AUD$60.00 per hour, providing flexibility and competitive rates for experienced nursing professionals.
- Work across ED and MPS in an acute care setting with diverse patient presentations
- AUD$45.00 to AUD$60.00 per hour on a contract basis, minimum six weeks
- Opportunity to apply advanced clinical skills in triage, emergency response, and in-charge responsibilities
Preferred Requirements
- Current Australian Triage Scale certification and demonstrated triage experience
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification current and valid
- Proven in-charge or charge nurse experience in an emergency or acute care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in emergency nursing
- Additional certifications in emergency or acute care nursing practice
