JCG is seeking experienced Riggers (Intermediate/Advanced) to join our crew at Karara Mine Site. This role suits a hands-on rigger who brings strong lift planning discipline and a safety-first mindset.
Key responsibilities:
- Rigging and dogging for lifts of plant, structural steel and mechanical components
- Preparing and working to lift plans, and inspecting rigging gear before use
- Supporting fitters and liners during shutdown and project scopes
- Maintaining exclusion zones and communicating clearly with crane operators and crew
About you:
- HRWL - Rigging Intermediate (RI) or Advanced (RA)
- Current VOC - RI/RA
- Current Mask Fit test (completed within the last 12 months)
- Working at Heights (completed within the last 12 months)
- Confined Space Entry (completed within the last 12 months)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen (instant or laboratory), completed within 28 days of mobilisation
- Mine site or heavy industrial rigging experience
- Full Australian working rights
- HRWL - EWP (WP) and Forklift (LF) highly regarded
