Journey Early Learning North Mackay is looking for a warm and passionate Permanent Educator to join our Nursery team. You'll play an important role in creating a calm, nurturing environment where babies feel safe, secure and supported to learn and grow. Build meaningful relationships with children and families while working alongside a supportive team that values responsive care and quality early learning.
Permanent Position | Nursery Room | Monday to Friday | Up to 37.5 hours per week.
About the Role
- Create nurturing, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
- Support each child's individual routines, learning and development
- Build secure and trusting relationships with babies and their families
- Contribute to observations, planning and documentation
- Work closely with your Lead Educator and wider centre team
- Maintain a safe, calm and engaging Nursery environment
You're a caring, reliable and collaborative educator who understands the importance of relationships and responsive care during the earliest years.
You'll bring:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Experience working with babies or within a Nursery environment is highly regarded
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)
- Completed National Child Safety Training
