K'gari Beach Resort is seeking a passionate Baker to join our team in a full-time, live-on island role. About the Role
As a Baker, you'll be responsible for producing fresh, high-quality baked goods enjoyed by resort guests, visitors and the local community. Working as part of our culinary team, you'll help ensure our bakery continues to deliver the quality products it's known for while maintaining food safety and production standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and bake a variety of bakery products
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- Monitor product quality and presentation
- Assist with stock control and ingredient management
- Support daily bakery production requirements
About You
You take pride in producing quality baked goods and enjoy working as part of a team that delivers great food experiences every day. You'll bring:
- Relevant bakery trade qualifications
- Experience in a commercial or high-volume bakery
- HACCP and food safety knowledge
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
