Are you an experienced landscaper who knows how to lead a crew, operate machinery and get the job done right? Joii Landscaping is looking for a hands-on Team Leader who takes pride in quality workmanship, leads by example and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. With a steady pipeline of both commercial and residential projects, we offer consistent work for someone who wants to be part of a team that gets things done. We're a Not-For-Profit Social Enterprise, so the work you do doesn't just create great outdoor spaces - it also contributes to a bigger purpose.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading from the front and working hands-on with the team every day
- Operating mini excavators, Bobcats, and other landscaping machinery
- Setting out jobs, managing levels, and coordinating site preparation
- Delivering quality landscaping works from start to finish
- Keeping projects on track, maintaining productivity, and ensuring high standards
- Managing day-to-day site activities and getting the best out of your crew
- Maintaining a safe, organised, and professional worksite
What we're looking for:
- Solid landscaping experience and the ability to lead a team on-site
- Confident machinery operation experience, including mini excavators and Bobcats
- Relevant machinery licences, tickets, or competencies for the equipment you'll operate
- A strong understanding of site set-out, levels and landscaping construction
- A practical, can-do attitude and the ability to take ownership of a job
- A strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a commitment to quality
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Fencing experience is a big plus!
