With offices located in Melbourne and Essendon, this hybrid role can be based in either location.
About the Role
The Rostering Services Administrator ensures their frontline team is in the right place at the right time. At the heart of their fast-paced operations, you'll plan upcoming rosters to keep services running smoothly and within budget, all while looking out for staff wellbeing to prevent burnout. You'll also jump in to solve last-minute shift changes as they pop up and keep attendance and allowance records accurate so everyone is paid correctly.
This is a full-time, 3-month contract role with a strong possibility of extension to 6 months.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain rosters
- Proactively manage resourcing issues
- Engage managers, staff, and stakeholders
- Monitor inboxes and tickets
- Resolve and validate data issues
- Develop workforce forecasts
- Support organisational reporting and continuous improvement
About You
You will be able to start this role immediately, and ideally have proven experience managing complex 24/7 rosters, timesheets, and payroll across healthcare, emergency, or community services. Proficiency in Microsoft, SharePoint, EmpLive, and TechnologyOne is highly regarded. You will be adaptable, detail-oriented, empathetic, and calm under pressure. You will also hold a valid Victorian driver's licence and undergo a National Police Check. You will hold full-time permanent Australian working rights.
