About You
As a Coordinator 2 - English, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The 2-point promotional position is temporary for up to 3 years; however, your teaching position will be full-time and permanent.
You will bring:
- Expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum (focusing on English) and the application of effective learning pedagogies.
- Strong classroom management and student well-being focus.
- The capacity to mentor teachers through engaging coaching strategies.
- The ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences.
- A tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
As John the Baptist is a large four-stream school, the successful applicant will be supported with full classroom release.
