John Flynn Private Hospital is seeking a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Barista to join our hospitality team on a casual basis. The successful candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering great coffee and exceptional service.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing high-quality coffee, tea and other beverages
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Taking orders and processing payments accurately
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming café environment
- Restocking supplies and assisting with general café duties
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
- Working collaboratively with the wider hospitality team
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Be confident operating a commercial coffee machine
- Have a genuine passion for quality coffee and customer service
- Be reliable, punctual and well presented
- Be able to work efficiently during busy periods
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work well as part of a team
- Understand the importance of hygiene and food safety in a healthcare environment
Previous experience in a hospital, healthcare or high-volume hospitality environment will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
